What we offer

We have a full list of CPD accredited Microsoft Office Excel courses below for you to choose from. Our training days are very different to other companies in how we structure the day. We work with you. You can inform us on what courses you would like delivered and what time to deliver them through out the day. Alternatively, you can inform us on what courses are need or skills staff already possess, and we can advise on the best way to structure the day.

We offer evening, full, half and day training. With a maximum of 12 candidates per course (we are flexible with this, please contact us to discuss).

Why do you not have beginner, intermediate and advanced training days?

Every candidate’s job role is different, everyone’s end goal is personal and most importantly everyone’s time is money. Attending a full days beginner training, when you only need one part of the course, doesn’t make sense to you or us.

Why attend a full day course, when you only need one aspect of it.

We don’t believe in limiting our candidates progression in learning aspects of MS Excel needed for their job role. We have labelled our individual courses B (beginner), I (intermediate) and A(advanced) as that is what people like to use for a bench mark.

Regardless of your prior knowledge and experience our trainer will personalise each course to the delegates expertise in the room. That is the benefit from MK-Office having a trainer with a teaching qualification and over 20 years of experience using excel. Below is a list of courses, we offer.

Will I need my own device?

Yes, we do not supply candidates with computers or software packages for our courses.

Benefits from onsite MS Excel training

We provide onsite instructor led training to companies within the UK, which gives an excellent balance between flexibility and cost-effectiveness. All employees have access to training that works around their schedule. No travelling, training done on the company’s premises saves valuable time for employees. It also allows a company to bespoke their training day to get the most value out of MK-Office.

Why send an employee to attend part of a course they already know? This way employees can attend what they need at a time that best suits delegates.

Why invest in MS Excel training?

Acquiring in-depth knowledge of working with Microsoft Excel functions and formulas will enable delegates to use Excel efficiently in their daily work life. Companies benefit from a wide range of aspects when staff are fluent in MS Excel:

  • Increased productivity
  • Reduce human error in calculations
  • Reduce time on mundane tasks
  • Consistency of data
  • Duplication and sorting of data efficiently
  • Charts to display data

We work with you to deliver the most effective training days that will benefit you or your company. The flexibility we offer candidates helps to ensure you learn what you need and no time is wasted.

The content of all our courses have been accredited by the CPD Certification Service and designed not just by a specialist in MS Excel but by an experienced qualified teacher.

We teach delegates the hot keys needed, how to save time but most importantly structure time to practice and embed skills learnt with a trainer.

We allow candidates the opportunity to bring their own spreadsheets to the course to practice and apply new skills with a trainer present.

Anything else?

Yes, unlike other Excel providers we offer you the opportunity during a training day to schedule a drop-in session. Drop-in sessions are where employees can bring spreadsheets, they are having issues with or that are not performing efficiently for our expert to take a look at and fix.

During these sessions our Excel expert can sit with an employee(s) and help to create or advise on the best formulas and formatting to help with their data. We can, if needed create bespoke spreadsheets for companies.

Basically, use our knowledge and experience for works best for your end goal.
